Detroit Suck City: Episode 11.2

The rest of the side quests are recounted below. These various misadventures happened around the same time of the events that Huey and 9s in Episode 11.1.

Kamanja and Wilhelm

Kamanja and Wilhelm decided they needed to work on the Rail Tank and after some conversion they decided that it was important to acquire more fuel and some material to make the tanks more defensive. Wilhelm told Kamanja he will see what he can do about materials if Kamanja wanted to acquire some fuel. Wilhelm was able to set up some arrangements for materials and when he arrived at the fuel station he noticed that Kamanja was arguing loudly with the fuel merchants demanding a deal. Before  Wilhelm could make his presence known Kamanja pulled out the rocket pistol and started to threaten the merchant with it. Wilhelm could not hear the response of the merchant but Kamanja pointed the rocket pistol and fired it at the fuel tank and moments before impact Wilhelm turned invisible. By some luck, the rocket went wide and blew open the gate. This explosion caused a flurry of movement within the city and a giant cactus mutant showed up with a lot of the town guards. Before Kamanja could fire again, the cactus man swung at Kamanja and sent him flying, knocking him out cold. During the confusion, Wilhelm was able to pick up the rocket pistol before it was recovered by the city guard.

Wilhelm took off away from the heat and as things calmed down he was able to pawn off the rocket pistol and ask around about what happened at the gate. He quickly learned that they took the person responsible to the kill box where in glorious combat, Kamanja has a chance to earn his freedom.

Lladmar and Parrot

Lladmar and Parrot decided it was important to offload a lot of their spare and useless equipment to get as much resources from it as possible. After some clever bartering, they were able to offload everything at decent exchange rates. During them going to shop to shop and selling to people on the street they ran into a group of heavily armed men dressed in black with some service robots in tow. The situation looked like it was going to go south before Lladmar and Parrot offered a generous bribe to this group. The leader of this group of men in black felt like the bribe was sufficient and left Lladmar and Parrot alone. As they were discussing what to do with the last of the items the needed to sale they were approached by another bull mutant that ended up being Lladmar's brother.

After some loud and boisterous rejoicing Lladmar and his brother walked off a bit to have a private conversation. After a few minutes Lladmar returns to where he left Parrot and explained that he needs to help his brother with something and told Parrot that he should try his best to sale the rest of the stuff to try to make up the profits lost for the bribe. Parrot agreed, wished Lladmar good luck, and said he will meet Lladmar back at the Rail Tank at dusk.

Just another day in Detroit Suck City...
